Albertsons this week

I see some great deals this week at Albertsons so bear with all the coupon lingo and see if you too can save some money.

Number 1.) There are some coupons floating around on boxes of Post cereal at Albertsons that read, "Buy 4 Post cereals or Nabisco cookies and get a free gallon of milk, your choice up to $4 value". If you are so lucky to have one of these or can find one at your store on a box of cereal or Oreos, use it with the Fred Meyer coupon for 4 boxes of Honey Bunches of Oats for $6, get the free milk gallon plus this week you automatically get a free can of coffee (Yuban and/or another brand MJB, I believe). If you don't like this coffee, donate it to the food bank. Either way, 4 boxes of cereal and a gallon of milk for $6 is a good deal in my book.

Number 2.) Free bag of spinach with the coupon on the back of the Albertsons ad today.

Number 3.) In the Albertsons ad this week, there are many of these deals where if you buy a certain number of items you get free candy (up to $2.50).I was planning to get some candy to donate to our church harvest party and this is how I plan to do this:
Buy 4 Purex Ultra Concentrate for $10, get a free bag of candy. There have been coupons for $1 off 1 Purex Ultra in the paper last week and two weeks ago. I am lucky enough to have 4 copies of this coupon so that will make it $6 for the 4, plus I can use the Safeway double coupon to get another $2 off making the total 4 bottles of laundry soap for $4 plus I will receive a bag of candy free! Not bad :)

4.) Check out the land o lakes butter deal as well. If you have 4 copies of the .50/1 land o lakes and can double those, that would be a very cheap butter price, good enough to stock up for the holidays. Butter will store for quite awhile in the refrigerator.

Good luck shopping this week. Start asking your neighbors for the coupons on Sundays. Sales like these are really sweet if you have doubles, triples or quadruples! You can also look at the Trading Post under www.pinchingyourpennies.com to see if someone has extras that they would like to trade.
