First run today at Albertsons

So, for about $6 out of pocket, here is what I got (minus the juicy juice which my daughter added to the photo!)

I bought
2 Viva Paper towels (.40/2 coupon)REALLY needed paper towels
4 Progresso Broth (.50/1 for each of these)
5 Yogurt varieties ($1/1 for each of these)
1 Cottonelle wipes ( had a $2 off coupon)
1 large Country Crock (had.50/1 catalina)
1 cake mix

Now to roll the $15 to the next set.

I mainly looked for all the $1/1 coupons I had on yogurts, then as many broths as I had coupons for and filled in with the items I really needed. Next round I am going to buy flour for christmas baking, Kleenex, more broth and some cake mixes. I have some more printing to do :)

Good Week at Albertsons

Get ready your coupons. Another awesome sale is starting tomorrow at Albertsons. I have my first set of $30 purchases set up. I will post more once I try it out. Check out frugal living NW ( link on the right) for more coupons to print etc.
I like to plan out my shopping ahead of time. Seems much easier once I enter the store with my coupons in paper clipped bundles. I plan to stock up on broth in the box, yogurt for cheap and some frozen vegies......will post more later tomorrow.

Rite Aid this week

Check out the great list of deal at Rite Aid this week. Make sure to print the $5/25 or other printable coupons referred to in the link below:
pinchingyourpennies/rite aid
I stopped in there on Monday when I was feeling OK and bought the Huggies, St. Ives cleanser, Kotex, Light bulbs, and a bag of candy (wonka for trick or treaters) and using coupons and the rebates I spent $7.44 for the above items! My store just wants me to get to $25 BEFORE coupons. That really is pretty easy....if your store tends to be out of things after the first few days, wait until saturday. I have found that my store restocks on saturday morning and if they still don't have the items I want, they will write a rain check.

Albertsons this week 10/14-10/20

Well, I must confess that I was too "overwhelmed" to look at the Albertsons grocery list on tuesday and on Wednesday night decided to make sure I wasn't missing a great sale and boy....I really was. So, you can come up with your own scenarios to get the spend $25 get $10 back or you can follow some of the ones that I am running with this week. Be aware that two other catalina deals overlap with the one I referred to above. They are the Pillsbury products and Betty Crocker Fruit snack.

Pillsbury: Crescents, Cookies, Sweet Rolls, Grands products, Pie Crusts, Dinner Rolls, Loaves, Breadsticks & Pizza Crust

Buy 3, Get $2 Catalina
Buy 4, Get $2.50 Catalina
Buy 5+, Get $3 Catalina

Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks: Fruit Shapes, Fruit By The Foot, Fruit Gushers, Fruit Roll-Ups & Fruit Roll-Up Stickerz

Buy 3, Get $1.50 Catalina
Buy 4, Get $2 Catalina
Buy 5+, Get $3.50 Catalina

Today this is what I did:

$12.50 5 fruit snacks (I am going to use some of these for a pinata filling for a neighborhood harvest party we are having)

$5.00 2 Yoplus Yogurts
$3.34 2 Pillsbury Grand Biscuits
$5.00 3 Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls
Total=$25.84

Coupons:
2 .50/2 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks (from paper a few weeks back or coupons.com)
2 $1.00/1 Yoplus yogurt (both printables and newspaper options for this too)
$1/1 Pillsbury Grand Cinnamon Roll
$1/2 Pillsbury rolls
$1/2 Pillsbury Grand Biscuits
OOP $20.84

Received $10 catalina, $3.50 from fruit snacks, $3 from Pillsbury

Plan to roll those tomorrow with this combination

$8.00 4 Progresso Broth
$4.00 2 Gold Medal Flour (printables at Eatrightamerica.com)
$6.00 3 Cheerios or other cereals
$6.00 3 Steamer vegetables
$1.67 1 Cookie Pouch mix

Total=25.67
Coupons:
4 .50/1 broth coupons (paper and coupons.com, eatrightamerica.com)
2 .50/1 flour
1 $1/1 Cheerios printable
1 $1/2 GM cereal coupon
3 .50/1 Steamer vegeables (coupons.com etc)
1 .40/1 cookie pouch

$18.77 plus pay with $16.50 in catalinas OOP= $2.27!

I will receive another $10 catalina which I will buy a couple whole chickens with since they are cheap this weekend .69/lb.

Anyway, this is just what I am doing based on my coupons and what my pantry needs. Of course we do not need biscuits or cinnamon rolls but for the fact that they end up being almost free and get me to my first $25, it is worth it for me to put them in the cart. Post your scenarios too!

Now what if the Sunday paper has double coupons? Might be worth waiting at least until then to find out......

Need some FREE items?

OK, this is the week of freebies at Rite Aid! Check out this post below for all the details. I went today and bought the items that we will use or that I could donate to the Food Pantry at church and used the $5/$25 to get some free candy for Halloween trick or treaters(considering that I got to $25 on free items after rebate) I love this sale, it gets me ready for cold/flu season every year without paying a dime

Good Sale coming to Albertsons

Just a heads up to get ready for a great sale this week starting Wednesday at Albertsons. A preview of the deals has been posted on pinchingyourpennies PYP I have printed my coupons and am planning to stock up on Rozoni Healthy Harvest pasta, Wet wipes, Syrup, and Life cereal. These are the items that grabbed me....but that is a beginning point! Many of the coupons are printable. Most coupons can be printed twice per computer. The Quaker deals are really good. I buy syrup for about 6 months every time this sale comes around and with the printable coupons, $1/bottle is a great deal!

have fun!!
