Something to do Saturday

Just in case you don't have kids playing baseball, soccer or some other event on Saturday morning, I have two ideas for you:

1. Home Depot has a free craft project for kids on the first Saturday of the month. I think for April your child will get to build a bird house. A fun hands on project. Time is 9-12.

2. Fred Meyer Fuchsia Saturday. Each year they do this great planting day. You purchase the starts and bring in your own pot, hanging basket etc. and they will plant the flowers for you. Geraniums are part of this sale too. I have done this in the past and the starts are filled out by June and create great color for your patio at a fraction of the cost of mature flowers in the summer.
